SimplyAmplifying score: 7.8/10 · Confidence: Low · Based on 1 in-depth review(s) from 1 outlet, and 15 article(s) read in full

Early verdict: only a few in-depth reviews are out so far. We update this page as more reviews are published.
The verdict
This is an early verdict based on thin evidence: one in-depth review, plus spec details from a second outlet. The Signature 27 looks strong on paper, with a bright 165 Hz display, a long PCMark battery result and high benchmark scores, but the reviews we read say little about real-world camera quality, software or value. Wait for more hands-on testing unless the spec sheet already matches what you need.
Best for: Buyers who want a spec-heavy flagship phone and are comfortable deciding on early, limited evidence.
Skip it if: You need proven camera quality, confirmed battery capacity or a clear value case before you spend this much.

What reviewers liked
- 91mobiles measured a PCMark battery life of 12 hours 53 minutes
- Very bright 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 165 Hz refresh rate, per both outlets
- Strong benchmark results in 91mobiles’ tests, including an AnTuTu score above 3 million
- Wired, wireless and reverse wireless charging are all listed by Smartprix Bytes
- IP68 water resistance and Gorilla Glass Victus 2, per Smartprix Bytes
What they didn’t
- Outlets disagree on battery capacity (5,200 mAh vs 6000 mAh) and on the camera setup
- No camera image-quality testing in the reviews we read
- Priced at ₹89,999 in India, well above the Edge 60 Ultra at ₹69,990
- 91mobiles recorded a heating figure of 43.7 percent in stress testing, and the reviews give little context for it
In detail
Camera: 8.0/10
The camera evidence is mostly a spec list, and nobody in the reviews we read judged photo quality. 91mobiles lists a 50 MP primary camera, a 200 MP telephoto, a 50 MP periscope with up to 100x zoom, and a 50 MP selfie camera. Smartprix Bytes describes a triple rear setup instead: 50 MP wide, 200 MP periscope telephoto and 50 MP ultra-wide. It also says the phone records 8K video at 30fps, which it contrasts with the Edge 60 Ultra’s 4K. The two outlets don’t agree on the rear lenses, so check the final spec sheet. How the photos and video look is still unknown.
Battery life: 7.8/10
91mobiles ran a PCMark battery test and got 12 hours 53 minutes, the only measured battery result we have. The outlets disagree on capacity. 91mobiles lists a 5,200 mAh battery, while Smartprix Bytes repeatedly gives 6000 mAh with silicon-carbide Li-Ion chemistry, and says that is larger than the Edge 60 Ultra’s 4600 mAh. We can’t tell which figure is right. The test result is encouraging, but it comes from one outlet, and we have no notes on mixed everyday use.
Performance: 7.6/10
91mobiles did the only hands-on performance testing. It recorded an AnTuTu score of 3,098,258 and a Wild Life Extreme score of 5,673. The phone booted in 15.0 seconds, and gaming drained 5.0 percent of the battery during its test. The outlet also noted a heating figure of 43.7 percent in stress testing, without explaining it in a way we can interpret further. It lists a processor speed of up to 5.0 GHz, against 3.8 GHz for another Signature model. Overall the numbers point to a capable phone, but this is one outlet’s view.
Display: 7.9/10
Both outlets agree on the main display specs: a 6.8-inch AMOLED panel at 1264 x 2780 resolution, a 165 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 6,200 nits. Smartprix Bytes adds that it is LTPO, Pantone Validated, covers 100% of DCI-P3 and has 10-bit colour depth. These are manufacturer-style specifications and neither outlet’s notes mention measured brightness or colour accuracy. On paper the screen is among the phone’s strongest points, but we have no independent measurements to confirm it.
Software: 7.5/10
Only Smartprix Bytes covers software, and only briefly. It says the phone ships with Android 17, newer than the Android 15 on the Edge 60 Ultra. The reviews we read don’t say anything about how the software behaves, which extra features it includes or how long updates will last. Smartprix Bytes also lists Ultra Wideband and Bluetooth 6.0 support. With one outlet and no hands-on impressions, this section is very thin.
Charging: 7.3/10
Smartprix Bytes lists 90W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. 91mobiles also mentions 90W turbo charging, though alongside a 5,200 mAh battery figure that conflicts with Smartprix Bytes. Neither outlet gave measured charging times, so we can’t say how quickly the phone goes from empty to full. The feature set looks complete, but speeds in real use are untested in the reviews we read.
Design & build: 7.3/10
Design coverage comes from Smartprix Bytes alone and is a feature list rather than a hands-on assessment. It describes a curved, bezel-less display, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, and a water-repellent design with an IP68 rating, good for submersion to 1.2 metres for up to 30 minutes. Nothing in the reviews we read covers weight, thickness, materials feel or how the phone sits in the hand, so comfort and build quality remain unconfirmed.
Value: too little evidence to score
There is too little evidence to judge value. Smartprix Bytes gives a price of ₹89,999 in India and sets it against the Edge 60 Ultra at ₹69,990, a gap of about ₹20,000 that counts against the Signature 27. That is the only price information we have, and no outlet tested whether the extra cost buys a better experience. Prices in other markets are not covered in the reviews we read, so check local pricing before deciding.

How we put this together
We read the reviews and articles listed above and weigh each by how much it should count: in-depth, hands-on testing with measurements counts most; launch news and press-release rewrites count least; sponsored content is penalised. Category scores are our trust-weighted summary of what those sources found, set to the same 10-point scale reviewers use; the reviewers’ own scores, where published, are listed above. This page was compiled with AI assistance and checked against the source notes. All findings belong to the outlets credited above; follow the links to read their full reviews. How we score.
