What’s new

The MIVI One 5G is the first smartphone from MIVI, a brand 91mobiles says is best known for earbuds, speakers and other audio products. It launched in India on 24 September 2026 as a budget 5G phone. FoneArena lists a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip, a 6.75-inch 120 Hz HD+ LCD, a 50MP rear camera and a 6,000mAh battery with 18W charging. Outlets disagree on the starting price: FoneArena and one Digit article say Rs 14,999, while another Digit article says Rs 15,999.

  • FoneArena says the phone has a 6,000mAh battery, 18W Power Delivery 2.0 charging, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a hybrid SIM slot. The 4GB + 128GB unit it unboxed shipped with an 18W charger and a clear case.
  • Software: FoneArena reports Android 16 with a stock interface free of bloatware, and says MIVI has committed to updates through Android 18. Digit describes this as two major Android version upgrades.
  • FoneArena says it will be sold through Flipkart from midnight on 8 October 2026, timed with the Big Billion Days sale. It gives an effective price of Rs. 11,999 after the introductory offer and bank discounts.
  • Price: FoneArena says it starts at Rs. 14,999. Digit gives Rs 14,999 in one article and Rs 15,999 in another. Smartprix Bytes lists the lowest price it found as ₹12,999 for the 4GB model and ₹16,499 for the 8GB model, as of 8 October.
  • FoneArena says MIVI claims its ClearTalk feature, built on the MIVI Neural Voice Engine, filters out wind, traffic and public chatter during calls in real time.

Early impressions

FoneArena: FoneArena’s unboxing and first look covers the 4GB + 128GB Pink unit. It found sunlight legibility good and noted a thick bottom bezel, which it calls common in budget phones. The earpiece doesn’t double as a second speaker. The PMMA back feels smooth and doesn’t attract fingerprints. It describes the phone as thick and heavy because of the large battery, and says the software is stock Android without bloatware. It also posted camera samples, but the excerpt gives no verdict on them.

What reviews will need to show

  • Whether camera quality matches the 50MP f/1.8 main sensor on paper, and what the secondary sensor adds. FoneArena’s excerpt shows camera samples but doesn’t judge them.
  • Whether the 6,000mAh battery lasts a full day, and how long the 18W charger takes for a full charge. Digit says the battery is meant to last an entire day.
  • Whether the HD+ resolution on a 6.75-inch panel looks sharp enough. Digit’s two articles also disagree on the refresh rate, 120 Hz in one and 90 Hz in the other, so reviews need to confirm it.
  • Whether MIVI’s ClearTalk noise suppression works as the company says on real calls, and whether the promised updates through Android 18 arrive.
  • Whether the IP64 rating Digit reports holds up, and which price and RAM version buyers can get. Prices vary between Digit, FoneArena and Smartprix Bytes.
