The verdict
Across five reviews from four outlets, the iQOO Z11x 5G is a long-lasting, fast mid-range phone. Battery life is the clearest strength, and performance and durability also earn praise. Weight, 44W charging, low-light photos and bloatware are the recurring complaints, and the evidence on software and value is thinner than for other areas.
Best for: Buyers who want a phone that lasts a long time between charges and runs smoothly day to day.
Skip it if: You want a light phone, fast charging, a top-tier low-light camera or a clean, ad-free software experience.

In detail
Camera: 7.5/10
Reviewers agree daylight photos are good and low light is the weak spot. Smartprix Bytes liked the 50MP main camera with OIS and the sharp 2x zoom, but found low-light colours and detail inconsistent and the selfie HDR hit-or-miss. Digit called low-light results acceptable for social media and praised natural selfie skin tones. FoneArena noted quick focus and a decent night mode, but also noisy low-light zoom and poor front-camera results in the dark. MySmartPrice Gear was the most positive, calling the main, front, portrait and video cameras solid. Overall it is a decent mid-range camera.
Battery life: 9.6/10
Battery life is the standout, with every outlet impressed by the 7200mAh cell. Digit’s PCMark test ran over 29 hours, though in its mixed-use comparison the phone placed second behind the OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite and ahead of the Poco. FoneArena got over 9 hours of screen-on time across three days and expects more than a day of heavy use. Smartprix Bytes saw 10-11 hours of screen-on time with a SIM and 12-13 without, calling it segment-leading. MySmartPrice Gear’s PCMark endurance run came in just under 30 hours.
Performance: 8.6/10
Outlets found the Z11x fast in daily use, with AnTuTu results around 950,000 to 970,000. Digit’s 968,962 beat the Poco M8 5G, and Smartprix Bytes recorded a big gain over the Z10. MySmartPrice Gear saw full sustained CPU output without throttling, and FoneArena’s stress test showed high stability with only a small temperature rise. Gaming is more mixed: Digit measured BGMI at 50-60fps, 41°C in 4K recording and lower Geekbench than the Nord CE6 Lite. Smartprix Bytes saw 60fps but limited headroom in heavy graphics tests, and MySmartPrice Gear called its BGMI result modest.
Display: 8.1/10
Outlets agree on a smooth 120Hz LCD with decent brightness. Digit measured accurate colour and a peak of 1,320 nits, above the maker’s 1,200-nit claim, and found the screen vibrant for video, though not the brightest in harsh sunlight. FoneArena found sunlight legibility good but called the panel fairly positive yet unremarkable, and took no measurements. Smartprix Bytes was the most critical: it found brightness adequate indoors and out, but contrast noticeably lower than OLED rivals, and noted the refresh rate resetting after app installs.
Software: 6.6/10
Evidence here is thin, with only two outlets covering software and only one giving a real verdict. FoneArena and Smartprix Bytes both report Android 16 with Origin OS 6 and a promise of two years of Android updates and four years of security updates. FoneArena criticised heavy preinstalled apps, including Netflix, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Spotify, which it says return after a reset. Smartprix Bytes mainly lists the software details and mentions AI features such as AI Erase, Circle to Search and AI Caption, without testing them. Treat this as an early read.
Charging: 5.5/10
Charging is the main drawback, though only two outlets cover it. Both put it at 44W with no wireless charging. FoneArena measured 50% in 45 minutes and a full charge in 90 minutes, slower than the roughly one-hour full charge of quicker rivals. Smartprix Bytes said 44W feels slow for a 7,200mAh battery, estimated 70-75 minutes for a full charge, and called it a step down from the Z10 5G’s 90W. Its figure was not measured, so FoneArena’s result is the firmer evidence.
Design & build: 8.0/10
The 219g weight and bulk are the main complaint. Digit found the phone large, heavy and awkward one-handed, while Smartprix Bytes said it may feel heavy over long use. MySmartPrice Gear called the design modern but possibly cumbersome in extended use. Durability earns praise: Smartprix Bytes and FoneArena both highlight IP68 and IP69 ratings and military-grade testing, and FoneArena says this is a first in its price range. Digit also liked the fingerprint-resistant matte back, the comfortable grip from curved edges and flat sides, and a plastic build that feels sturdy.
Value: 7.6/10
Evidence on value is thin, so treat this as an early view. MySmartPrice Gear called the mix of practical performance and battery life sensible for users who prioritise reliability. Smartprix Bytes listed a lowest price of ₹27,999, below the ₹29,990 it gave for the Z10 5G, but gave no explicit verdict. Neither outlet compared the phone’s price with rivals or called it a bargain, so how it stacks up against competitors is not established by the reviews we read.

How we put this together
We read the reviews and articles listed above and weigh each by how much it should count: in-depth, hands-on testing with measurements counts most; launch news and press-release rewrites count least; sponsored content is penalised. Category scores are our trust-weighted summary of what those sources found, set to the same 10-point scale reviewers use; the reviewers’ own scores, where published, are listed above. This page was compiled with AI assistance and checked against the source notes. All findings belong to the outlets credited above; follow the links to read their full reviews. How we score.
